Our Locality

A few miles to the north is the seaside town of Llandudno often described as the Queen of Welsh Resorts, with its Victorian promenade, links to Alice in Wonderland author Lewis Carroll, and the Great Orme headland with its famous cable car and tramway to the summit. To the west lies the city of Bangor, the Isle of Anglesey (Ynys Môn) and the Llyn Peninsula. The magnificent Snowdonia National Park is on our doorstep with Snowdon (Y Wyddfa), the highest mountain in Wales, attracting thousands of visitors each year.
